Broken woman

New Year’s Eve. Murielle is at home, alone. The noises from the street and the shouts of her neighbours celebrating prevent her from falling asleep. In this wakefulness, memories confront a bleak present and an even less promising future. The lost, the taken, the failure and the loneliness have left her out of the game, wandering in a limbo where she still struggles between survival and death. Her real tragedy – which is also comedy – has shattered her self-esteem as a woman, as a wife, as a mother and as a daughter.
