HUGO LÓPEZ SARASA

He holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Navarra and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property at VIU. He began his professional career at Lamia Producciones, working in development and production on feature films such as Inurri Itsuak (Igor Legarreta), The Story of Us (Helena Taberna), and Not Such an Easy Life (Félix Viscarret), among others.

He later worked with showrunner Jason George during the development, pre-production, and filming of the Netflix original series That Night, produced by Txintxua Films. At the same time, he co-founded El Rayo Verde, where he produced numerous short films, including Antón (Mikel González), which received the First Prize in the Loterías section at the San Sebastián Film Festival, and ¿Dónde estás? (María Moreno), which took part in MAFIZ (Málaga Film Festival) and was awarded at Cinema Jove.

In October 2025, he moved into film distribution upon joining the LAZONA team.
