Presented in the Official Selection of the Cannes Film Festival, this new work sees Leyla Bouzid directing young actresses Eya Bouteraa and Marion Barbeau, alongside the renowned actress Hiam Abbass (Succession, Blade Runner 2049, Insidious: The Red Door).
Sinopsis
Back in Tunisia for her uncle’s funeral, Lilia reunites with a family that knows nothing about her life in Paris, especially her love life. Determined to unravel the mystery surrounding the sudden death of her uncle, Lilia finds herself confronted with family secrets in a house where three generations of women cohabit between silences and traditions.
